I’ve been listening to the audiobook of Olga Dies Dreaming, by Xóchitl González, for the past few days. I keep finding myself walking the dog an extra few blocks to avoid coming home so that I can sneak in a few more chapters. The book is told from the perspectives of three members of a Puerto Rican–American family, and is narrated by the fantastic cast of Almarie Guerra, Armando Riesco, and Inés del Castillo. I’m hooked and can’t wait to see where it goes.
Got to Under the Whispering Door and I liked it, but I hope his next novel has a slightly different structure.
