Get cozy with Silent Book Club
As it starts to cool down where we live, we're taking time to slow down, enjoy some fall reads, and a cup of tea (or wine). We're also celebrating booster shots, and the expansion of COVID vaccine coverage to children. We know many of our community members have been waiting for the latter, especially before returning to gathering in person for events.
So this couldn't have come at a better time, as Graduate Hotels in New Haven, Nashville, Lincoln, and Cincinnati are hosting cozy Silent Book Club meetups every other week from Nov 17-Dec 15th. Even better, Nashville co-host The Bookshop will be raffling off a $25 gift card to one lucky guest. So snag an RSVP, grab a beverage, and settle in to the couches with your favorite book.
SBC meetups are a great break from the frenzy of holiday shopping as well. We of course encourage you to support your local indie bookstores as you are considering your gift lists, but we'd be remiss if we didn't offer a friendly reminder that the Silent Book Shop has great options, especially for stockings. Our favorite new items include a travel cup and candle, perfect to set yourself up for success for a bookish night in.
Happy reading and stay masked and safe, everyone. Until next time,
— Guinevere & Laura
