Get ready for #SummerReads!
Happy holiday reading!
As we wrap up the year and prepare for the holidays, we wanted to take a moment to thank you for making Silent Book Club the most welcoming book community in the world.
This year more than 165 chapters gathered strangers and friends together to read quietly in cafés, bars, libraries, bookstores, parks, gardens, and brewpubs in 20 countries around the world. Online, over 50,000 SBC members shared book reviews and recommendations, literary lifestyle tips, and reading lists spanning all genres of literature, from poetry to romance to sci-fi to non-fiction.
Our community is broad, diverse, and inclusive—all readers are welcome. We celebrate audiobooks, ebooks, kids' books, paperbacks, hardcovers, new releases, classics, book club books, translated works, graphic novels... if there are words on a page, Silent Book Club members will devour them, and share their delight in the feast with fellow readers.
It is a dream come true to watch this community thrive. Cheers to you all. Here's wishing you a restful and book-filled holiday.
See you in 2020,
