Get ready for #SummerReads!
We've always wanted to foster a bookish community not just online, but also in real life.
We launched our website in 2015 when we had three chapters—San Francisco, New York, and Los Angeles—and invited other readers to start clubs in their local neighborhoods. Since then, Silent Book Club meetups have been held in more than 300 cities across five continents. Some chapters have come and gone, while several of our longest running groups are celebrating their 3rd anniversaries (Hi, Columbus! Hey, Orange County! Looking good, Palm Springs!).
So we are thrilled to launch a new interactive map to help you connect and find local SBC chapters. Zoom and pan around the map and click on markers to see the name of each chapter. Click again to read the chapter description and find out when and where the group meets.
We hope this makes it easier to find a Silent Book Club in your town, or when you travel. Introvert happy hours are some of the best places to meet people—and get book recommendations from fellow readers.
See you at the club!
