Silent Book Club News - February 2019 💗📚
Snuggle up with a good book
As much of the US battles against a polar vortex, February has become not just the month to go on a blind date with a book, but the month to find a fireplace, some cozy socks, and huddle close with your favorite beverage and a page-turning book series.Â
If you do make it out of the house, and are in one of the cities listed here, we recommend going to see Alan Brennert, author of Moloka'i, and now, Daughter of Moloka'i. Don't see your city listed? Find a local Silent Book Club chapter meetup and join likeminded readers to work on your TBR.Â
And if your TBR is dwindling, explore the recommendations offered for Black History Month in our Facebook group and Twitter feed. Learn African-American history, explore non-fiction by Black Women writers, must-reads for the month, or discover books for children of all ages.Â
 Happy reading!
