#ReadaBookDay? Don't mind if I do.
Let's be clear: made-up marketing holidays are ridiculous (National Creamsicle Day, I'm looking at you) but I'm always happy when a random book day pops up on the calendar and everyone jumps on the hashtag wagon. I mean, if the Hubble telescope, Laura Bush, and The Simpsons are all telling you to get off Twitter and read a book, it's a good day.
Speaking of reading, this month we're sharing our favorite shadowy spy novels on the blog. If you've got espionage and subterfuge on the brain (I mean, who doesn't these days?) OR if you're as excited as I am to see John Krasinski step into the role of Jack Ryan, this installment of What We're Reading is for you.
Finally, we are thrilled to welcome a flurry of new chapters that have kicked off around the world: from Minnesota to Sweden, Italy, Johannesburg, Glasgow, and Delaware. Find all of our chapters on our website, and keep an eye on our calendar for upcoming Silent Book Club meetups near you.
Happy reading!
